What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is often described as ‘being in the moment’.  Although this is one accurate description, it has a much wider explanation than this.  Essentially, it’s about taking care of your present moment and above all, showing yourself kindness.  You can read more here

Pema Chödrön describes compassion as our relationship with pain (and pleasure). If you understand your own pain and that of others (particularly emotional pain and how it affects you) you can live a healthier, happier and rewarding life and experience good mental health.

Most people are compassion-centred towards others – they are naturally kind, especially when they see someone suffering. The problem is that most people aren’t kind to themselves.  Read more here

How long does it take?

The strategies I teach can be done in the time you have available. Who is behind Kindfully?

I am Delphi, a qualified counsellor, well-being trainer and mindfulness practitioner. I have been working in a therapeutic setting, helping people for over 15 years and studied Mindfulness from the original Buddhist teachings known as the Pāli Canon.   You can read more about me here.
